Futsal has become the forever craze among boys of Rotaract
Club of Wellawatte. Playing indoor with a new set of players gives the perfect
challenge to any football lover. Identifying the strength of each player and
managing to bring victory for the home club has been the recent task for our
boys.
After hosting many district project, RACW decided to have their own futsal practices and tournaments to strengthen the bonding between fellow clubs focusing on the year theme ‘Engage Rotaract – redefine friendship’ through sports.
Sports became a medium to reach out easily and encourage fellowship between clubs. We invited RACAUM, RACCMidtown, RACWattala for three phases and one inter-club practice session for RCL. It was a fun filled experience to know members from each club and grow the passion for sports together. Hence it became an encouragement to balance physical and mental fitness.
