It's Okay to be Quarantined

'I don't want to try; I'm no good at this; I'm done, I had enough..' Sounds familiar?

Each one of us would have gone through this phase of life where we wanted to give up, where we were okay to be a loser, where we simply wanted to quit our existence. We didn't want to fight that battle, we didn't want to clear the path that will lead us to a better future. But simply we wanted to run away from the problem or find an alternative to delay the attempt to solve the problem.

It has become a big deal to keep ourselves motivated; to find the courage to face the problem; to find some extra time to do something little that will make us happy, instead we search our happiness in another human being. We expect a stranger to make us laugh and feel loved, to push us to find time to spend on us. Isn't that funny that we are depending on a stranger's motivational speeches, quotes or a pep talk to realize ourselves and make us strong?

But we tend to forget that we have a self that consoles our friends, strengthens our family and our loved ones when they feel low. We forget that it takes a little effort to spend that time with that self we see or be with when we feel alone. We kept on running a race and when life wanted us to pause and think where we are right now, we started complaining that we don't want this temporary quarantinization.

My dear friend! it's a second chance you got, to take care of that inner soul; he/she needs you to be their shoulder, not to give up again.

Its okay to feel sad, It's okay to feel broken, it's okay to cry. This feeling will pass. But trust the voice inside that tells you that, you are powerful and you can love yourself too!
