"Stand By Me" is a community service project done together with the Rotaract Clubs of Colombo East, Panadura and ACBT, not only to promote the Rotaract theme for the year "Engage Rotaract - Redefine Friendship", but also to spend a day in orphanages to spread love and kindness with the sheer hope of redefining friendship with those who deserve an assurance that a random stranger who cares can make a difference in their life. Phase 1 was hosted on the 19th of August, 2017 at the Morotuwa School for Special Education and Home for Girls, following that, Phase 2 was held on the 2nd of December, 2017 in the St. Mary's &John's Senior Home, and Phase 3, the final part of the project happened on the 30th of May, 2018 at the Sevana Special School and Child Care Centre, Pitakotte.
