Following the Happiness Hour project, another multi-district project was coordinated to mark the Golden Jubilee of Rotaract International. 54 clubs from 54 different district joined hands to celebrate 50 years of Rotaract International during the World Rotaract Week.
Each club chose to radiate 50 or more people's life with activities of their interests and provide them with a meal.
Rotaract Club of Wellawatte chose to spend the day with the children at the Sri Jinananda Children's Home, Wellawatte, where they made handcrafts and moulded sculptures and celebrated by cutting of cake.
Collectively, we joint-project resulted in 3000 gleeful people at the end of the day and hope to do many more of such projects.
