Break-A-Way

Break-A-Way is a professional development project, which was organized by the Rotaract Club of Wellawatte with the motive to educate new club members about Rotaract. From this project, members who are new to the club were enlighten about the club history and traditions, Rotaract and Rotary functionalities and its benefits to the society. The project was carried out at Viharamahadevi Park Premises on 5th   of September 2017 with the participation of 16 members.

The BREAK-A-WAY project was structured in three sessions.
Session One: Session 1 had three activities in the aim of Name Torpidos - memorizing the names of club members Dog & Bone - working as a team in order to come up with the strategy to achieve a common goal Eye Torpidos – improve concentration and focus.

Session Two: Session two was conducted by the PDRR Rtn Sathiyeandra Tharmakularajasingam, which was an interactive session regard to the History and Traditions of Rotaract Club of Wellawatte along with the benefits of Rotaract and its benefit to the society.

Session Three: Final session had a fun activity to make the bond stronger and to enjoy the moment with the club members. Furthermore, giveaways and gifts were distributed to the club members.
