Rotaract Club of Wellawatte invited our parent Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Mount Lavinia as well as members of the Interact club of ‘Anula Vidyalaya’ to come together as one family and celebrate the success and importance of the Rotaract program. The event featured speeches from our Rotarians who highlighted what significance being a Rotaractor will have upon our personal and professional lives as well as how this will eventually pave the way to join Rotary and take our service to the next level. The session also featured a speech from our own DRR Rtr. Shakthi who spoke about his Rotaract experience throughout the years on how it has transformed his journey to where he is today. All speakers on the day were incredibly motivated and spoke from their hearts as they shared their knowledge on Rotaract as well as the future transition to Rotary which proved to be invaluable to all present especially for the young Interactors who gained a fabulous insight into the Rotaract and Rotary organizations.
