Not one to forget their cultural background, the Rotaract Club of Wellawatte organizes and celebrates the holy day of ‘Thai Pongal’ with joy and fellowship. This year once again the event was held on the 15th of January, 2016 in front of the Bambalapitiya flats where several Rotaractors from all faiths attended to witness the traditional making of ‘Pongal’. Afterwards the delicious ‘pongal’ was served to all present as well as to the general public.
