This professional development project was jointly organized by Rotaract club of Wellwatte, Kandy, Colombo East, UOC arts, Manipay, Trincomalee and Pamunugama. Lost is a project where a set of Teams will be provided with a clue and using those clues with limited resources they have to travel around the country by following the clues in order to achieve the goal, something similar to Amazing race Asia.
This project was planned 3 months prior to the event since it involves a lot of hard working and coordination. Few members from Wellawatte, Kandy and UOC of arts did a pre run before starting the event, in order check if all things are in line. Clues were distributed to respective individuals from different places. 6 different Rotaract Clubs participated with 6 different teams. All the team members gathered at Race Course, each team was provided with the clues, based on those clues they had to make their way to find the next clues. This was a two days event, started on the 27thof November around 5.00pm and ended on the 29th evening around 6.30pm. First team to reach the final destination is awarded as the winner.
The
activities given by the organizers to all the participants covered all
four avenues of Community Service, Club Service, International
Understanding and Professional Development.
